Project Worker/Online Mentor
Two new opportunities came my way in August via New Writing North.
The first was to work as a Project Worker on the Success4All Summer School at Kids Kabin, Walker. The role involved assisting in the design and delivery of young writer’s sessions for 7-16 year olds and facilitating morning writing sessions scheduled throughout the week.
The second was to sign up as an online mentor for the new Young People’s online forum. The aim is to give advice to young people aged 14-19 on their work in progress and to aid with their development as writers.
